These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the AHOUFE platform in Ghana. AHOUFE is a platform connecting customers with partner beauty salons, published by Lebutu Labs and accessible via the web application (https://ahoufe.app) and the mobile application.
By using the AHOUFE platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety, in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772) of Ghana. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform. AHOUFE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any substantial changes by push notification or SMS.
Registration on AHOUFE is free and is completed using a mobile phone number. A one-time SMS verification code (OTP) is sent to verify the user's identity. Use of the platform is restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older. By registering, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity on your account.
AHOUFE provides an online booking service for beauty treatments (hairdressing, braiding, weaving, makeup, manicure, skincare) at partner salons located in Ghana. Services include: salon search by neighbourhood, viewing of treatments and prices, booking of time slots, secure mobile payment when activated, and appointment management (confirmation, modification, cancellation).
Bookings are confirmed once validated by the partner salon. Each booking includes the choice of salon, service, stylist and time slot. Cancellation is free of charge up to 2 hours before the appointment. After that deadline, cancellation fees may apply according to the partner salon's policy. In the event of a no-show, the booking amount may be retained by the salon.
During the launch phase in Ghana, use of the AHOUFE platform is entirely free for both customers and partner salons. No service fees, subscription or commission is charged. Future pricing terms will be subject to prior notification at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
AHOUFE acts as a technical intermediary between customers and partner beauty salons. The beauty service is provided under the exclusive responsibility of the partner salon. AHOUFE cannot be held liable for the quality of services provided by salons, nor for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of booked services. AHOUFE undertakes to use reasonable efforts to ensure the availability and security of the platform, without any guarantee of uninterrupted service.
AHOUFE collects and processes your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. For details on data collection and your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
View Privacy PolicyAll content, trademarks, logos, graphic elements, and software comprising the AHOUFE platform are the exclusive property of Lebutu Labs and are protected by the Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690) and applicable international intellectual property treaties. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, or exploitation is strictly prohibited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these Terms shall be submitted, after an attempt at amicable resolution, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Accra, Ghana. The parties may also resort to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including arbitration and mediation.
