The platform is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in the europe-west1 region (Belgium), operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

3. Legal framework

AHOUFE's operations in Ghana are subject to the following laws and regulations:

  • Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843)
  • Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772)
  • National Communications Authority Act, 2008 (Act 769)
  • Payment Systems and Services Act, 2019 (Act 987)
  • Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038)
  • Data Protection Commission of Ghana

4. Services and payments

AHOUFE is a technical intermediation platform for booking beauty services in Ghana. During the launch phase, the service is free for both customers and partner salons. When in-app payments are enabled, transactions will be processed through licensed mobile money operators:

  • MTN Mobile Money (MTN MoMo) — licensed by the Bank of Ghana
  • Vodafone Cash — licensed by the Bank of Ghana
  • All prices are displayed in Ghana Cedis (GHS), VAT 15% included
  • AHOUFE is not a payment institution and does not store any financial data

5. Intellectual property

All content on the AHOUFE platform (texts, images, logos, trademarks, graphic elements, software, databases) is the exclusive property of Lebutu Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690) of Ghana and international treaties. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, or exploitation is strictly prohibited.

6. Personal data

AHOUFE collects and processes your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of this notice shall be submitted, after an attempt at amicable resolution, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Accra, Ghana.
